Digital Mjolnir
Definition of Mjolnir-
Mjölnir is the hammer of the thunder god Thor in Norse mythology, used both as a devastating weapon and as a divine instrument to provide blessings.
Virtue Systems 19 is happy to announce our new "Digital Mjolnir" process to destroy electronic data from all digital media forms: HDD's (SATA and SAS), SSD's (ALL forms), external drives, flash-drives, NFC's, and RFID's.
This process integrates full data destruction along with physical destruction. All data drives are wiped over digitally utilizing a custom VS19 process that includes DoD 5220.22-M/ECE, NIST Clear, and Cryptographic Locking to ensure the data is completely gone before physical destruction. Should a drive be unable to function effectively enough for a wiping process, the platters or drive media itself will be physically incinerated, ensuring total loss of data. This process is compliant with the highest forms of digital data destruction standards and guarantees the true annihilation of the data, rather than being "near impossible to recover" as with any other method.
NFC and RFID chips will have an electromagnetic current run through the media that it is unable to withstand, thereby destroying the data held within. This process is compliant and the most thorough method for this medium.
A certificate of destruction can be issued, along with the return of physically and digitally marked media that has been digitally wiped. A certificate of incineration can be given for any media that requires physical destruction, but materials cannot be returned. If necessary, live GoPro footage can be requested of incineration.

The process of the Digital Mjolnir follows a strict routine ensuring a secure and private environment for your data destruction.
The chain of custody begins and ends with the company's founder and cyber security specialist Jeffrey Hunt, who will retrieve the digital mediums and place them in a locked container with tracking mechanisms (A receipt based on serial numbers/makes/models can be rendered upon pick up). The container is then transported to a secure location that is monitored 24/7 with burglary/fire alarms, audio/visual recording cameras, and secured code entry points with forced entry prevention safeguards.
At this site, all mediums will be securely erased with an air-gapped system so the data never goes live with a networked computer. The system also operates off of a battery backup with automatic generator activation. What this means is that once the wiping process for your data begins, it does not end until the process is completed, even if the electric grid goes out and remains out. The incineration and physical destruction also happens at this site under video surveillance.
