 About the Owner

Jeffrey Hunt
Jeff founded Virtue Systems 19 in 2016 after years of managing technology for a Minnesota medical practice, where he advanced from business administration to Director of IT. In that role, he strengthened security, automated routine processes, and created a technology environment that could be managed efficiently and reliably.

That experience showed Jeff how much small businesses benefit from technology guidance that is both technically strong and easy to understand. It also revealed how often organizations are offered complicated or unnecessary solutions without a clear explanation of their practical value.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Gustavus Adolphus College. His technical education includes studies in computer science and IT infrastructure at the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, along with specialized coursework in network administration and network security at Rasmussen College.

Clients work directly with Jeff to evaluate risks, solve technical problems, and make practical decisions that support their operations. His goal is not to sell unnecessary technology—it is to help clients understand their options and choose what genuinely serves their business.

Behind the Name
The name Virtue Systems 19 was chosen deliberately. It represents the standards by which we intend to work, the faith that shapes our purpose, and our commitment to see every engagement through from beginning to end.

Virtue begins with integrity. For VS19, that means being honest about what is working, what is not, and what will genuinely benefit the client. We recommend solutions based on the client’s needs—not simply on what is easiest to sell. When another provider or specialist is better suited to a particular requirement, we are willing to say so. We approach every recommendation by asking whether it is something we would trust in our own operations or recommend to our own families.
Virtue also carries a deeper meaning within Christian tradition. The Virtues are one of the traditional nine choirs of angels and are associated with divine strength, courage, grace, and miraculous works that strengthen faith. That idea inspired the purpose behind Virtue Systems 19: to use knowledge and service to relieve technological burdens, restore confidence, and help people move from confusion to clarity.

This purpose is expressed in our tagline, “Encouraging Your Faith in Technology.” It does not mean placing blind faith in technology. It means earning that confidence through systems that are dependable, secure, and understandable—and through guidance that is truthful, patient, and responsible.

The number 19 also has intentional meaning within the company name. The number 1 represents the beginning: the first question, the first step, and the decision to move forward. The number 9, as the final single-digit number, represents completion and fulfillment. Together, they reflect the biblical image of Alpha and Omega—the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
For VS19, that symbolism represents a commitment to remain engaged throughout the entire process: from identifying a problem and understanding its cause to implementing a solution and making sure the client understands the result.

Taken together, Virtue Systems 19 is more than a company name. It is a promise to serve with integrity, apply knowledge responsibly, bring clarity where there is uncertainty, and help clients develop genuine confidence in the technology their businesses depend on.
